“Highlight of the day was the sand boarding with Doc. We absolutely loved the trip out and his energy during the event. Would have been better if they had a quad to take you back up the hill after your slide. It was extremely hot when we were there which limited us hiking up the hill for additional Sled runs. The lounge is convenient with the lockers and towels are available so no need to bring them. Do try the Moreton bay bugs for lunch as they are unusual and a nice treat. “These activities were actually so interesting and attracted me! Generally, I was enjoyed with my family most of time! However, the activity of dolphin feeding was too short and rushed and we got to get changed our wet body immediately just after dolphin fed! As the ferry is going to depart @7pm and we did not managed to get everything done in such short time, especially with kids. Furthermore, if the activity of dolphin feed were started late!”

Moreton Island: Marine Discovery Cruise & Dolphin Feeding

9.Moreton Island: Marine Discovery Cruise & Dolphin Feeding

★★★★★★★★★★4.0 · 22 reviews · 1 day · from $162

Spend a full day at Tangalooma Island Resort on Moreton Island, with return ferry travel from Brisbane, a marine cruise, lunch voucher, pools, beach time, and sunset dolphin feeding. You may see turtles, dugongs, rays, and fish, but wildlife sightings and hands-on feeding depend on weather, tides, and dolphin attendance.

“The dolphin feeding was the highlight of the day, such an amazing experience feeding wild dolphins in the bay! Make sure you get down there before the listed feeding time to see the dolphins playing in the bay before it gets dark. The marine tour was a little underwhelming, our guide didn’t have a great deal of information to give us and when asked questions didn’t necessarily know the answers. It was also difficult to hear them over the boat sound as there was no microphone/speaker system on the boat. Nevertheless, the dolphin feeding made up for the day and is why we booked this excursion in the first place!”
